A large portion of our day was taken up by the train ride from Brussels to Zurich which lasted 8 hours. It was a good opportunity to catch up on some sleep, journaling, talking with group members and playing cards. After making it to Zurich, we continued on into the countryside of Richterswil. To arrive at such an outstanding location was refreshing to the body, mind and soul! The hostel looked out at Lake Zurich and our time in this little town was peaceful. We explored the local chapel, walked near the lake and took a boat to Rapperswil, another small village on the lake. I had my fill of cheese, bread and Swiss chocolate...well, actually, I could eat some more! We returned to Zurich to explore a bit of the city, eat dinner, shop and catch the overnight train to Paris.Monday, April 30, 2007
