Mark your calendars because this April of 2007, I have finally gotten inspired to join the 21st century. I have managed to stay away from myspace and facebook, but the pull of blogging has won me over. Some of my aversion to the online communities have been my balancing act of living and working with college students. It's easy to get sucked into the urgency of being connected to one another through a computer, where I would much rather take you out to coffee. But I have come to terms with the fact that we may not be in the same place at the same time and this act of blogging may in fact keep you closer to a part of my life, whether it be a still life or a close embrace.Saturday, April 14, 2007
Joining the 21st century
