Oh Canada!

In the spirit of catching up, I decided to post our fall vacation to Victoria, B.C. My aunt let me know she had 2 tickets for the Victoria Clipper that she couldn't use, so I snatched them up. Daniel and I took a Monday off and enjoyed the excursion to Victoria. We got up bright and early and only had to drive about ten minutes to the port, where we took a 2.5 hour boat ride.

We arrived in the quaint town of Victoria leaving the downpour of Seattle behind and enjoying a break in the rain. We mostly walked the waterfront, visited the stores (the Irish store was a great find) ate lunch at a steak house, walked around some more and appreciated the cool sidewalk art and ate again at the Old Spaghetti Factory (BC style). We also explored the underwater aquarium where there was mostly dark fish (it's not quite like Hawaii) and a scuba diver who explained certain types of marine life.

Daniel is really not a fan of getting his picture taken which explains the funny faces.

It was a nice getaway...if we did it again, we would probably stay overnight, although it was a great day excursion!
