Brussels, Belgium

Bussels is an interesting city, very bustling with both locals and tourists on a Wednesday. We got familiar with the local transportation, ate a waffle first thing and then took off for Vilvorde to visit the William Tyndale site. Tyndale was burned at the stake for translating the scriptures into English in the 1500's. We walked through the market and a local carnival, then visited the site where a monument commemorates Tyndale's life. It is in a local park and is not a highly visited place. It reminded me of how much we take for granted the liberties of modern day life.
