PA Fun Day!

If you know me well, you know that I have a hard time missing out on just about anything. Well, maternity leave has been no different. Although I have enjoyed a break from the usual chaos of this time of year in Residence Life, I had a hard time "letting go". It took me about a week into my leave to distance myself from the every day schedule of PA training.

It's one thing to be able to give up the work portion of training, but another to miss out on the relationships being developed. So, I made a compromise with myself, my supervisors and my spouse...just let me plan PA fun day!! After all, I put it in the schedule this year...

We went out to Sheridan Beach, where my parents have community access to the lake front. Being mid-September, all of the younger kids have gone back to school, so we had it completely to ourselves!

Since it is still a bit of a juggling act, not only were my parents gracious enough to let us use the lake front, they also provided free babysitting!

Daniel came too and hung out with the group. Chuck- this picture is for you.

Looking forward to a great year!
